Before you can apply for additional grant due to reduced functional ability, you must first submit an application for loans and grants. Then you can apply for additional grant for the same period.

The deadline for applying for additional grants is the last day of the period for which you are applying for loans and grants. This day can be found in your letter of decision on Dine sider.

• The deadline to apply for the additional grant for the entire 2023-2024 academic year, or only for the spring semester of 2024 is, for most people, June 15, 2024.
• The deadline to apply for the additional grant only for the fall semester of 2023 is, for most people, January 15, 2024.

1. Download and print the application - see bottom of page.
2. Fill in the form and get a stamp and signature from your doctor or another professional.
3. Log in and go to the page Apply for grants and loans via the menu.
4. Upload and submit the application.

Your case will be processed by a Case Officer and you should expect it to take some time before you receive an answer.
