Universities that entitle you to an extended grant next academic year

Published: 24.10.2023
Students attending a university or university college in a country outside the Nordic region and who have to pay high tuition fees may, in some cases, be eligible for an extended grant from Lånekassen.

To be eligible for the grant, the educational institution or university college must be on the qualification list of the Directorate for Higher Education and Skills (HK-dir). HK-dir revises this list annually.

Students who have started an educational programme with eligibility for an extended grant will still be able to receive this grant until they have completed their degree, even if the university has been removed from the list in the meantime. See which universities and university colleges that entitle you to an extended grant in the 2023-2024 academic year.
