Where does the signing take place?
The decision regarding the student’s grant and loan application will be sent to the student through Your Pages (Dine sider). In addition, the parents will receive the decision letter either by post or in their digital mailbox (Digipost/e-Boks).
Parents log in to the parental signing portal using their own BankID to sign the agreement. The grant will be paid directly into the student’s bank account.
Only one signature is required
All parents who have parental responsibility will receive the decision from Lånekassen, but only one parent is required to sign the agreement.
What if the student is under 18 and receives a loan?
Students under 18 who receive both a grant and a loan must sign the agreement together with one of their parents. The agreement will then be sent to the parents by post.
What if the student has no parents?
If the student has no parents, or if the parents live in another country, a legal guardian must sign the agreement on the student’s behalf.
